As the number one healthcare philanthropy consulting and technology firm, Gobel leads the industry with primary and secondary research, offering the best ideas and smartest technologies.

After a very successful tenure at Mass General Brigham and Northwell Health, Eric Rezsnyak joins Gobel as Vice President and Chief Research Officer. He will lead a team of six research analysts to identify and share the best practices in every area of healthcare philanthropy. In partnership with its research team, Gobel will build an advisory team of over 20 of the industry’s top experts in every area of healthcare philanthropy. In addition to the best practices/secondary research work, Rezsnyak will also lead a team of internal and external experts to develop new and innovative primary research, often through IRB-sponsored studies.

Rezsnyak will use the information developed in these best practice programs to contribute to Gobel’s ongoing work to develop the smartest technologies and programs that help clients raise the most money.

All of Gobel’s research initiatives will be housed in its Online Learning Library and distributed through a daily newsletter, along with specialized email and social media distributions.

“With 50 full-time employees who bring more than 500 years of collective experience from the top medical centers in the world, we have always been a leader in the development and sharing of best practices and thought leadership. As the company continues to grow, we need a senior executive to manage all of our ongoing and new research initiatives. Eric’s extensive background in collecting, analyzing, producing reports and sharing information will be absolutely critical to maximizing our impact on the industry,” said Chad Gobel, Founder and CEO.

Before Gobel, Rezsnyak served as the Director of Prospect Management and Research at Northwell Health, the largest healthcare provider in New York state with 22 hospitals, and supported its $1 billion campaign. He served in similar roles at Mass General Brigham and the American Museum of Natural History. He came to development following a 15-year career in journalism. Rezsnyak holds a B.A. in Magazine Journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.

“I am excited to bring together my development skills and journalism background to ensure that Gobel is on the leading edge of best practices in the industry. We will provide our clients and the healthcare philanthropy community the best possible content, learning opportunities and innovative ideas,” said Rezsynak.
